Services1. Ordering of goods For each order that you make an e-mail will be sent to you confirming that your order has been recieved. However, if at any time The HomeCottons Company becomes aware of any detail, information or documentation that it feels should be checked after your order has been placed, we retain the right to cancel this order at any time before delivery. If your order is not accepted, for any reason, The HomeCottons Company shall inform you by e-mail within 3 days of the order being placed or by phone if you have placed a telephone order. The HomeCottons Company reserves the right not to supply you goods at our discretion and will not deliver any order that has not been paid for in full. All of our stock is subject to availability so in some cases we may not be able to supply the quantity of stock you have ordered. Some products need to be ordered directly from the supplier. In the event that this happens or if there is a delay in your order we will contact you.
The HomeCottons Company offers the goods to the Buyer in accordance with their quotation displayed on the web site. The prices of goods displayed on the web site are inclusive of VAT. Delivery will be charged in addition to the quoted prices as indicated in the checkout pages. Prices and delivery charges quoted on the web site are clearly displayed and only apply to goods delivered within the UK except the Highlands of Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Isle of Man. 3. Credit Cards and Debit Cards The HomeCottons Company accepts credit and debit cards from Visa, MasterCard, Switch, UK Maestro, Solo, Electron and Visa Debit. PROTX, an independent Payment Service Provider for authorising online credit and debit card payments, first checks the card details used to purchase goods. You will be informed by e-mail if PROTX cannot accept the processing of the card within 24 hours. This protects you as a customer s a supplier of goods against fraudulent transactions. 4. Delivery of goods Please note you must ensure there will be someone present at the delivery address to sign for the parcel(s). Where the delivery address is different from the cardholders address, we reserve the right to contact you before dispatching the goods and, if we feel necessary, cancel the order. Please note The HomeCottons Company will bear no liability where the goods are not signed for by the cardholder, provided the goods are delivered to the requested delivery address. Any changes in the expected delivery time will be e-mailed to you within 24 hours of you placing your order (Monday to Friday, excluding Bank/Public Holidays). 5. Right to cancel an order To cancel an order you can contact our Customer Service Centre or use the history section of the My Account Section of the web site. Once your order has been dispatched then your order cannot be cancelled. If you would like to return your order please follow the Returns and Refunds Policy. 6.
