For our customers wanting a Quality, Organic Duvet this range is the one for you. The duvets have 90% down and 10% fine feather. The Organic cotton used for this duvet is unbleached. The filling is washed using the Greenfirst washing process. This is 100% natural washing treatment based on lavender, eucalyptus and lemon oils. This treatment has also been hypoallergenicity tested by independent laboratories. In addition this filling has also been Greenline certified meaning that it has been produced according to EN standards relating to ecological and hygienic manufacturing processes. It also certifies that it is recyclable and biodegradable. The matching pillows to the duvet uses the same fillings, fabric and treatments. The various certification also applies. This product also has box construction to keep the filling evenly distributed. This light weight down duvet works with your body temperature to provide you with a good night sleep. Down is a three dimensional fibre. Each cluster attaches to the next cluster to create a pocket that then traps air and warms to your body temperature. The feathers and down used in inferior products are washed just 2-3 times. For the natural duvets we have chosen the feather and down is cleaned together using natural soap and water and dried. The drying process is done immediately in a tumble dryer and reaches 120c in order to sterilise the feathers and down and to dry them thoroughly. The cleaning and the sterilisation process removes dirt, dust and dander and invisible skin residues that adhere to the feathers and down. These substances are the cause of most allergic reactions. This Duvet also carries the NOMITE mark. To confirm to NOMITE standards the cotton fabric must be an extremely tight weave of at least 230 TC, the more threads, the denser the fabric. This product has also been tested according to the Oeko tex 100 class 1 standard. This gives you the assurance that no harmful chemicals or substances are in the duvets and pillows. Class 1 certification also means that they are also suitable for children. This range of Organic Duvets can be combined with our Organic sheets to provide you a comfortable nights sleep.
